The Career Opportunity at a Glance Employment Type: Indefinite Term Contract Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST Work Setup: Onsite, Bogota/Medellin What You'll Be Doing Coordinate and schedule recorded statements with insurance adjusters, clients, and other relevant parties.
Confirm recorded statement appointments and document confirmations accurately.
Prepare clients for recorded statements under the supervising attorney's guidance.
Conduct and record statements, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of recorded statement activities in the case management software.
Understand the claims process in first-party property and casualty cases to identify critical information during recorded statements.
Address and relay essential information from recorded statements to the handling attorney for follow-up.
Collaborate with internal staff and coordinate with field representatives, as needed, for on-site recorded statements at client locations.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence related to recorded statements, ensuring timely and professional communication.
Assist attorneys with pre-litigation administrative tasks to enhance case efficiency.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support team operations effectively.
Requirements What Makes You the Ideal Candidate Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
Prior experience as a legal assistant, pre-litigation assistant, or paralegal in a law firm setting (preferred).
Strong understanding of first-party property and casualty claims and the claims process (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Strong ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Professional demeanor, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Proven multitasking abilities and a track record of meeting deadlines.
