DISCOVER THE ROLE Key Responsibilities Perform in timely and accurate manager general accounting and reporting including processing journal entries, calculation of accruals, posting and process allocationsPerform period and year end closing operations on a timely and accurate basisEnsure proper reconciliation of reports and accountsPrepare reports and documentation for internal and external purposes- Respond to questions from relevant entities regarding general accounting mattersResponsible for independent processing of standard accounting transactions and clarification of operational issuesPrepare expenses variance analysis monthly for departments or business areas assignedCompletion of internal controls and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries and reasonableness of balance sheet positionsFacilitate communication with TMF local offices to provide input to local jurisdiction specific activitiesComply with accounting standards, policies and proceduresSupport, follow-up and escalation of identified issuesUnderstand, monitor and take proper action regarding KPIsUpdate and creation of documentationPerform all other work as requestedClose cooperation across the TeamConduct training sessions as agreedKey requirements Proven experience in a multi-country, multiple legal entity environmentPrevious experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model will be advantageAt least 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting/Record-to-Report area.Good knowledge of accounting, GAAP, corporate practices; IFRS knowledge will be an assetMS Office literacy; Workday Financials or other ERP systems as beneficial.Good English language skills (written and spoken)University degree preferable in Accounting, Finance or Economics as beneficialProactive and engaged attitude;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailsContinuous improvement mindset and process orientation and a solution orientated work approachWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Health Insurance: Prepaid medical plan.English Classes: Opportunities to learn English.International Learning: Opportunity to learn about legislation in other countries.Internal Training: Company-sponsored training sessions.Funeral Insurance: Funeral policy.Life Insurance: Life insurance policy.Gym Access: Access to a gym.Business Partnerships: Partnerships with business partners.Permanent Contract: Permanent contract with opportunities for professional growth.Advertised: 16 Dec 2024 SA Pacific Standard Time
