TMF Colombia is looking for a Bilingual Billing Specialist, with at least 3 years of experience in Financial areas, billing, invoicing and Excel to work in hybrid modality from Bogotá, Colombia.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure bookkeeping is compliant with group accounting policies and proceduresEnsure delivery of high quality financial dataReview month-end closing entries, such as fixed asset depreciation, prepaid expenses, accruals, IFRS adjustments, etc.Accounts review and reconciliationEnsure efficient period end closing processEnsure compliance with IFRSPerform review of monthly financial reports and ensure these are submitted in accordance to the group reporting deadlinesPrepare monthly variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviationsConduct continuous review of reports and identify opportunities for improvementsAutomate data preparation and report creation where possibleProvide guidelines to team membersDevelop and coach team members and provide supervision on some of their activitiesIdentify problems or unexpected events arising during work and resolve themKey Requirements: University/College Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or EconomicsMinimum 5 years of experience in similar positionGood command of English (both verbal and written)Knowledge of accounting rulesKnowledge of IFRSMS Office knowledge – very good excel skillsGood knowledge of modern accounting practicesExperience with process documentation will be an assetGood communication and analytical skills and ability to lead the teamWhat's in it for you?
