Description Leidos is seeking a talented Quality Technician to join our Colorado Springs, CO, team and help us create unique solutions for complex problems.
As an intricate member of the team, you will perform Quality functions for the project team involved with the development of hypersonic manufacturing systems, including component compliance, process compliance, non-conformance identification and reporting, Root Cause and Corrective Actions.Primary responsibilitiesIdentifying, tagging, and segregating non-conforming parts as appropriateGenerating non-conformances for non-conforming partsSupport Quality Metrics and TrendingSupport Quality InspectionsKnowledge of inspection methodology including Blue Light Scanning helpfulSupport the develop of Manufacturing Travelers/RoutersEnsure Manufacturing Travelers/Routers are followed approving critical stepsSupport corrective actions by perform Investigation and root cause analysis to drive improvements into processesExperience with GD&T and machiningBasic QualificationsBachelors Degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experienceAssociates Science Degree is acceptable or have an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with at least 7 years' experience in Quality Engineering under an AS9100 or equivalent experienceIn lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality and/or quality engineering under an AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.Experience working under an AS9100 quality system or equivalent experience in a DOD Manufacturing environment.Candidate must hold an active Secret Security clearancePreferred QualificationsASQ Certified Quality EngineerLean Six Sigma certificationGD&T knowledgeOriginal Posting Date:2024-09-10While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
