An Intermediate QA reports to a QA Lead. Works closely with QA lead, QA Subject Matter Experts, other QA members, Project managers, designers and developers to ensure QA standards and client satisfaction are delivered. He/She Provides execution of QA tasks with speed and great quality for the overall agility of the QA team.
You will: Be co-responsible for the quality of projects based on the requirements and design specifications.Responsible for attending meetings providing status, taking notes and providing feedback when needed.Be able to communicate test results, issues, and risks found to project team members, project managers, and QA management through the different channels.Identify test dataCreate and maintaining comprehensive test plansWrite and maintaining test cases/scriptsCreate traceability matrix documents based upon project requirementsCreate checklist documentation based upon project requirementsPerform functional and non functional testingEffectively communicating statusesApply industry standard testing methodology, strategies and industry best practicesCreate defect tickets and track issues to resolutionReport creation and related metrics at different levels when necessarySupport the team on onboarding co-workers and/or junior staff membersShould be able to execute regression tests based on design specifications and requirementsExpected to support QA estimations if needed.Expected to fully understand project life cycle and industry standards.Expected to fully understand testing methodologiesExpected to ask all necessary questions when tasks, requirements or information isn't clear or missingIdentify and raise risksShould be able to work with other team members to ensure the success of projects.You have: Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.Knowledge of Agile Methodologies for software developmentExperience working with local and offshore teamsExperience in task management and defect tracking tools like Jira and/or similarExtensive knowledge of Windows or MacOS software is expected.Knowledge and experience with CMS such as AEM is a plus.Knowledge and experience in Automation with Cypress is PLUS.ISTQB Certification is a plusOther QA related certifications are a plusMastery of office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.What We Offer: Competitive benefits packagesVacation, compassionate leave, sick days, and flex daysAccess to online services for families and new parentsEnd of year closure days (not deducted form vacation balance)Diversity and Inclusion Board with 12 affinity groupsInternal learning and development programsAnd more…At Critical Mass, we value our employees and offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
