With offices located around the world : Europe, Latin America, Asia, and our Corporate Headquarters located in the United States of America within the New York Metropolitan Area.We develop trade finance software for banks worldwide.The RoleWhat are we looking for?- An experienced QA Engineer to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide timely and meaningful feedback.- Innovative QA Engineer who can create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.- Organized QA Engineer who can accurately estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.- Skilled QA Engineer able to design, develop,and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.- QA Engineer experienced with : identifying, recording, thoroughly documenting, and tracking bugs.- Able to perform thorough and successful regression testing in order to resolve any bugs.- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.- Monitor debugging process results.- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.- Create training materials and operating manual.Ideal ProfileQualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven work experience in software development.- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.- Bi-Lingual-Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.- Strong attention to detail.- Relevant training and / or certifications as a QA Specialist.- Broad knowledge of QA (Quality Assurance) methodologies, tools, and processes.- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process.- Experience with performance and / or security testing is a plus.What's on Offer?- At BT Systems, LLC we are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team- Great work environment- Excellent career development opportunities
