Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Associate Purpose The QA Automation Associate Engineer is responsible for managing, building, testing, and deploying automated tests for multiple projects. This role requires a comprehensive approach, as the engineer must be able to manage inputs with product ownership teams as elements that complement the development of test cases. The person will be responsible for creating and maintaining automation packages with high quality and efficiency, demonstrating a good command of code development and the ability to learn and take ownership of business logic. The distribution of responsibilities is as follows: 20% will be dedicated to test analysis and design, 20% to coordinating activities across teams, and 60% to developing and maintaining test automation packages. Accountabilities Migration of legacy application automation packages to the company's standard framework, maintaining test coverage but providing possible improvements to the processes. Having the ability to design the best solution based on business logic, with the ability to say and justify why the automation process should or should not be carried out. Can carry out training sessions where you will transfer knowledge on how to correctly execute automation packages to the execution team. Talk to the product owners to learn details of the business logic, as well as input management and the solution of problems with the applications. Understand business logic and work dynamically between the environments that the company manages for UAT. Strong programming logic skills in high-level and object-oriented languages and good database skills. Nice to have Java Skills. Experience working in waterfall and/or agile team. o Knowledge on SQL and ability to write complexity Queries. o Experience working with Java, SQL, BDD and POM. o Ability to propose solutions independently in pursuit of established objectives. o Strong working knowledge of department-related software o Well-developed leadership ability o Strong interpersonal skills o Superior analytical skills o High attitude to handle reported issues and provide solutions.
