This platform was built with a microservices architecture , using technologies like Golang, Scala, Python, GraphQL, Apache Airflow, Redis, PostgreSQL . Summary of the role: As part of Amadeus Media R&D, the QA team is responsible for testing end-to-end functionalities, ensuring no regression while loading new software, and collaborating with business partners and development teams. As manager of the QA team, you will lead the QA activities and drive transformation. In this role you'll: The key responsibilities of the QA Team Manager include: Engineer manager Lead a team of skilled QAs and be accountable for their performances. Ensure good team collaboration across countries and time-zones. Set performance objectives and conduct reviews. Motivate and guide team members to expand their capabilities. Organize the team to foster a collaborative work environment. Functional expert Gain functional expertise in the Media area and discuss functional directions. Participate in solution design and raise QA considerations. Define a vision for the team in line with the department strategy. Project lead Participate in constructing quarterly timelines for the QA organization. Maintain team capacity versus business needs. Follow execution of quarterly plans and budget lines. Work with R&D team leads and business stakeholders. Enforce Agile principles in the teams. Report on team activities. Develop plans to address resource challenges. QA Specialist Ensure QA best practices are applied. Design test strategies and ensure follow-up. Suggest improvements in processes and operational models. Ensure consistency of the QA methodology.
