Flight Itinerary (About The Role) We are looking for a person with analytical thinking and able to learn about the functional goal of our old/new software solutions. You will manage the QA for our solutions and you will create/execute the different test cases over the different applications of the company. You're the guardian of quality, ensuring every API meets its functional promises. As a QA Specialist, you'll focus on designing and executing tests to validate the functionality and logic of APIs. Your keen eye for detail and deep understanding of business requirements will ensure the APIs are robust and reliable. What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities) Manual / Automated test case execution and result analysis Report generation based on results to determine % of readiness Develop procedures to determine product quality Estimate QA projects effort and tasks Design and execute functional API tests to validate endpoints meet acceptance criteria and business logic. Develop and maintain reusable automated test scripts in JMeter for continuous API validation. Document and report defects clearly to facilitate resolution by the development team. Collaborate with developers and Product Owners to refine acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Conduct robust regression testing and integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Perform and analyze performance tests to ensure API scalability and stability, identifying bottlenecks and improvement areas. Enhance testing processes and tools while staying updated on QA best practices and methodologies. Proactive 3+ years of experience in API testing with a focus on functional testing. At least 1 year of hands-on experience with JMeter for functional testing and automation. Strong knowledge of RESTful API testing tools and frameworks. Proficiency in defect tracking and reporting tools like JIRA or Azure. Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve testing issues. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests.
