Primary Purpose: Coordinate and control the entire process of Capital Investment (Capex); ensure that every process of capital is in accordance with the Internal Procedures of Finance, Purchasing, Legal and EHS Policy; ensure the proper design, installation, modification, and commissioning of new and existing plant equipment, buildings and facilities; coordination of administrative activities related to PMO and GE-Managed projects, such as scheduling visits, travel logistics for engineers from abroad, and booking information for importation of equipment.
Main Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates, financially justify projects, prepare budgets, review designs, supervise installation and commissioning.Research new equipment, systems, and processes to advance plant operations.Facilitate contractor management process and periodically audit contractor's work to ensure that safe work practices and standard operating procedures are followed.Maintain drawing and documentation system, regular audit for compliance.Coordinate the control area of Capital Investment / Expenditure relating to the following activities:Preparation / Revision of support letter and budget issue;Control of Capital Investment and expenses (actual vs. estimated) and update Capex reports (capital/expenditures, committed, cost to complete) for analysis (Local, LA Region and/or Corporate);Emission and control of requisitions related to Capital/Expenditure of Investment Projects;Ensure the update of all Engineering Performance Indicators, related to Capital Expenditures and Expenses;Regular basis meetings of alignment between the Engineering team.Education:
• Engineering Degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, automation.
• Fluent English (listening, speaking and writing).
• Desire: PMI certification.
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in project management.
• Experience in capital management.
• Requires the ability to direct cross-functional work groups to achieve operational and facility equipment objectives, goals and timelines.
• Computerized layout, spreadsheet and database management.
• Requires strong communication, business, technical, analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to understand plant layouts, capital estimating, team member-man computations, tire cost structure, manufacturing equipment processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills. Experience in problem-solving techniques a plus: DMAIC, A3 (desired).
• Knowledge in financial control, technical knowledge and computer engineering.
• Experience with Plant Optimization a plus or TPM or Lean manufacturing.
Knowledge:
• PMI methodology.
• Control finances.
• Knowledge SAP (PS) (desired).
• Develop an evaluation and risks of the EMS.
• Compliance with Legal Requirements Applicable to your area.
• Demonstration of being able to take a machine to Zero energy.
• Being coach of ICHE (desired).
• Able to elaborate an ICHE procedures for equipment release (desired).
