The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager is in charge of the day-to-day management of project execution which includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Responsibilities: Manage project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability. Manage the Project and the processes therein – including the definition and on-going monitoring of the Project Implementation Document (PID) Execute and align the project scope, goals, detailed milestones and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders Produce the Project Implementation Plan Produce and Manage the Project, Quality and Communications Plan Define the resource plan Represent the needs of the Implementation Team during the pre-sales stage Carry out resource planning and management Carry out the management and escalation of risks and issues Manage the project budget Ensure that the project team members are aware of and remain compliant with all the relevant procedures and policies Proactively manage changes in project scope throughout the project Ensure appropriate communication between the members of the project team and report on project progress and other project specific information to stakeholders Lead the 'handover to support' activities after go-live Lead the 'lessons learned' activities for thewhole project life cycle Produce the Project Closure Report Qualifications: Essential Project Management experience delivering multi-stranded integrated Healthcare ERP solutions in a customer-facing role Experience the full project lifecycle through initiation, execution, go-live, and closure Direct healthcare knowledge and/or 3+years ofexperience withaHealth IT system ishighly preferred Experience managing resources, time tracking, budgets, and forecasting Experience leading a diverse / multi-disciplined team Experience communicating across all levels of an organization Desired An understanding of hospital/businessprocedures, standard working practices, structure and politics Previous experience as an end user of an integrated health system Clinical/businessexperience or background – ideally as a user ofTrakCareor other Hospital Information System (HIS) applications Experience with integrated implementations Broad understanding of IT technical implementation-delivery Education and Training: University degree or 5+yrsexperience managing large, complex projects preferably in healthcare IT Technical knowledge in software and implementation processes Project Management qualification such as Prince2, PMP or PMI Senior level management training PMI Certification desired #J-18808-Ljbffr
