Strategic Risk Solutions Inc. (SRS), the world's largest independent insurance company manager, is growing and looking for a self-motivated and dynamic Program Manager to join our Elevate Division.
This is a remote position with the candidate based in Bay Area, CA or Philadelphia, PA. Salary Range for the role is $150,000-$175,000 with an annual target bonus based on level of experience.
Responsibilities and Duties - Manage existing and create new retail broker relationships - Explain value proposition of product in order to drive submissions from retail broker network - Review and analyze submission information (including preliminary underwriting) - Negotiate with insurance carrier underwriters - Create proposals or other sales related exhibits - Leverage product and distribution in order to maximize sale probability - Day-to-day management of insurance requests - Attend industry events (brokerage and construction) for marketing purposes - Maintain compliance with any carrier requirements/industry standards in all underwriting activities - Keep apprised of applicable industry knowledge and standards Attributes and Skills - Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred - Experience in either production underwriting, program management, or wholesale brokering preferred - Experience and deep knowledge of workers compensation preferred - Experience with construction underwriting preferred - Strong organizational/prioritization skills - Self-direction and the ability to take ownership and drive responsibilities through to completion - Balance between sales drive and technical / underwriting proficiency - Excellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skills - Presentation skills both in-person and virtually About Strategic Risk Solutions SRS is the world's largest independent insurance company manager.
