Strategic Risk Solutions Inc. (SRS), the world's largest independent insurance company manager, is growing and looking for a self-motivated and dynamic Program Manager to join our Elevate Division.
This is a remote position with the candidate based in Bay Area, CA or Philadelphia, PA.
Salary Range for the role is $100,000-$150,000 with an annual target bonus based on level of experience.
Responsibilities and DutiesManage existing and create new retail broker relationshipsExplain value proposition of product in order to drive submissions from retail broker networkReview and analyze submission information (including preliminary underwriting)Negotiate with insurance carrier underwritersCreation of proposals or other sales related exhibitsLeverage product and distribution in order to maximize sale probabilityDay-to-day management of insurance requestsAttend industry events (brokerage and construction) for marketing purposesMaintain compliance with any carrier requirements/industry standards in all underwriting activitiesKeep apprised of applicable industry knowledge and standardsAttributes and SkillsBachelor's Degree in a related field preferredExperience in either production underwriting, program management, or wholesale brokering preferredExperience and deep knowledge of workers compensation preferredExperience with construction underwriting preferredStrong organizational/prioritization skillsSelf-direction and the ability to take ownership and drive responsibilities through to completionBalance between sales drive and technical/underwriting proficiencyExcellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skillsPresentation skills both in-person and virtuallyAbout Strategic Risk Solutions SRS is the world's largest independent insurance company manager.
