Join a great company, not merely an individual project Position overview We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in risk management and security to join our team. This role requires a professional who can blend security expertise with product management skills to help develop and refine risk-based frameworks for evaluating product events and findings. The goal is to effectively score merchants and organizations on their risk of breach or detrimental harm. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive the product roadmap and ensure successful product launches. Your primary focus will be on delivering highly effective and user-friendly Risk Management solutions in our core platform that meets or exceeds the needs of our customers and helps protect their systems and data. Working hours: US Central Time zone Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our Risk Management suite of solutions, including defining the product vision, identifying market opportunities, and analyzing customer needs and requirements Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines the prioritized features, enhancements, and integrations based on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and insights to inform product development decisions. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and stay informed about industry trends Work closely with engineering teams to drive the development and delivery of the security scanner product, ensuring high-quality releases on time. Provide clear and concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Champion the importance of user experience and work closely with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to drive continuous improvements Stay informed about the competitive landscape, including analyzing competitor products and strategies, and use this information to inform product positioning and differentiation Plan and execute successful product launches, including coordinating with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and collateral Monitor key product metrics, user feedback, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement and guide future product enhancements. Make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and drive customer success Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and updates to internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency Requirements Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role preferably in the cybersecurity or risk assessment/management, regulatory assessment or similar domain Strong understanding of risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000) and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or other Agile Ability to analyze and translate product-related events into measurable risk indicators; Solid understanding of risk-scoring methodologies and security risk management Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels Experience with user-centered design principles and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive product innovation Knowledge of marketing and sales principles, with the ability to contribute to go-to-market strategies As per the laws of your country.
