Our Latin America Group (LAG) is looking for a dynamic, innovative, business-oriented Product Marketing for the Black & Decker brand and the business unit outdoors across 7 markets. This position will be responsible to set the product marketing strategies for LAG by synthesizing market, consumer, product, and competitive inputs to drive the highest possible revenue for the business. In addition, this role will be responsible for product positioning to targeted consumers, pricing strategy, BU/category analysis, sales messaging development, competitive analysis, and product differentiation among others. This role works with cross functional teams including Brand, Digital, eCommerce, Supply Chain, Finance and it collaborates with the global strategic business units in order to drive strategies to the LAG markets. General Responsibilities Plan, execute, and track winning regional product marketing and commercialization strategies across product lines and brands for the Latin America markets Define "Big Rocks" that will drive sales and profitability growth and achieve target market share gains across Power Tools, Hand Tools & Accessories as well as Outdoor and potentially Cleaning Actively engage with in-country product marketing and sales teams as well as general managers to ensure successful execution of all strategies Collaborate with global strategic business units and Product Development to develop 3-year innovation roadmaps Ensure successful new product launches including integrated product launch packages that highlight the product's solution-based benefits for the end user to generate immediate demand Drive and oversee product positioning and messaging ensuring success through differentiation, generating value for the brand, creating a competitive edge, and aligning product roadmaps to meet consumer needs Leads all activities that involve quantifying and segmenting the market opportunity based on patterns of unmet needs, understanding how we compare versus the competition, value streams of our brands, etc. Gain deep understanding of the market, consumer, competitors, and distribution channels to support strategy generation and decision making to deliver business results Create a data driven culture in product marketing through the implementation of analytics and KPIs to support decision making and optimize product launches, marketing strategies, and ultimately sales performance Work with brand and digital teams to maximize strengths of an omni-channel strategy that raises awareness for our new products, strategic initiatives, and brands in the market Required Qualifications: +8 years of experience and knowledge in Product Marketing, Product Management, or Brand Marketing roles in multi-national corporations with operations in Latin America Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, or related field. MBA preferred Demonstrated experience in creating and executing highly successful product marketing plans, including but not limited to product positioning, pricing, activation, digital marketing, and ecommerce Ability to prioritize and ensure execution of the plan, eliminating barriers for the product marketing team Strong leadership skills to influence cross functional teams to drive one vision/goal and drive change Excellent oral/written communication skills in Spanish and English, Portuguese a plus. Ability to present complex material to a wide range of audiences from the end user to the executive team Strong knowledge of financials Strong interpersonal skills including creativity, decisiveness, agility, multi-tasking, proactivity, prioritization, among others, in a very fast paced working environment.
