About the Role: Sezzle is in search of a Product Manager to lead the design, development, innovation, and launch of new products, features, internal tools, and solutions. This role involves taking full responsibility for the end-to-end strategy and performance of assigned products and features. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the organization and collaborate with select engineering teams to manage priorities. This role also involves identifying opportunities using a data-driven approach, creating business cases, defining scope, and drafting initial product requirement documents. As an internal consultant and product strategist, you will support the company's cross-functional and global strategic initiatives, reporting directly to the Director of Product. You'll regularly engage with executive leadership, customers, merchants, and cross-functional engineering and business teams to continually drive product innovation. We are looking for a talented and motivated Product Manager who excels in both intellectual (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ). What You'll Do: Develop product roadmaps and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, support, risk, legal, data, etc.) to meet company-wide goals. Conduct primary and secondary research, including consumer surveys, to determine competitive benchmarks, market trends, and refine Sezzle's strategic market position. Analyze customer and merchant user journeys, recommending improvements for key communication points. Lead product development, working with engineers and designers to build comprehensive end-to-end solutions. Use data to prioritize products, features, and projects, and communicate these priorities to key stakeholders. What We Look For: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field. Experience leading teams and/or influencing outcomes. 2+ years of experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative methodologies to understand customer insights. Strong analytical and data visualization skills. Ability to translate product needs into technology requirements. Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Experience in payments, fintech, or credit-building industries. Proficiency in SQL (MUST). Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing with a keen interest in shaping consumer behavior. Experience with technology tools such as Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), Figma, Stripo, Braze, Active Campaign, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey. Knowledge of technical e-commerce practices. Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
