Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Analyst to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.
This role is responsible for developing the tools necessary for Personal Lines rate revisions, including auto, home, and umbrella insurance. The candidate must understand Personal Lines products and rating structures, historical rate changes, and state-specific information. Additionally, the role requires excellent technical skills and keen attention to details.

Requirements English fluency is requiredBachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, or related is requiredKnowledge in insurance industry is required1 to 3 years of experience working with SAS / SQL, Excel skills (Intermediate), Power BIData Analysis: Ability to pull and analyze data from different sources to make sound recommendations in support of the financial health of the business.Industry and Product Knowledge: Demonstrates a solid grasp of property and casualty insurance knowledge including product composition, coverages and exposures, rating methodology, and general underwriting philosophy.Preferable:Competitor Intelligence: Complete and maintain competitor and marketplace analysis. Determines rate need at the state level based on indications, trends and competitor data.Python skillsProduct Strategy and Roadmapping: Coordinates inputs from customers, developers, market, and competitive information and translates them into product development efforts. Develops profitable short and long-term strategies by ownership of product composition, appetite exposure management and eligibility refinement.Profit and Loss Management: Ability to balance the profit and growth goals for line of business countrywide. Works closely with Actuarial partners on indications, loss trend, and rate filings. Experience with pricing models / class plans. Post implementation measurement and monitoring of initiatives.
