The position You will act as a business partner and safeguard procurement continuous to be recognized as trusted partner to the organization by clearly adding value and ensuring business needs are understood and met. You will be responsible for managing indirect sourcing in the affiliate, with an aim to acquire the highest quality of goods/services at the best possible terms, prices, innovation, and sustainability. All in compliance with internal and external regulations, including ethical and legal guidelines. Responsibilities Build, and execute the procurement pipeline based on the budgets, spend analyses and in-depth knowledge about the organization. Identify and develop sourcing and optimisation business cases, seeking cost-saving opportunities, and optimizing procurement processes to improve efficiency. Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality, innovation and sustainability. Monitor market trends, identifying new opportunities, and staying informed about changes in the industry that may impact procurement decisions. Support the maturity of the procurement function through adoption of the wider IO strategy, as well as identification and creation of better practices (techniques, processes etc.) Drive cross-affiliate initiatives such as: selected category management, supplier relationship management and sustainability. Qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management, or similar with outstanding academic achievement. 8-12 years of leadership experience in international pharmaceutical organizations, specializing in sourcing, category management, and supply chain. Strong expertise in sourcing strategies and procurement processes, with a proven ability to execute effectively. Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, adept at engaging across all organizational levels. Demonstrated capability in strategic leadership, influencing outcomes, and driving impactful business results through innovative procurement practices.
