Job Summary: The Procurement Coordinator will assist the procurement team by supporting procurement activities, coordinating the purchasing process, and ensuring smooth communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role is responsible for maintaining procurement documentation, tracking purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. This position will be engaged on a full-time basis as an independent contractor for an indefinite duration. Key Responsibilities: Support procurement activities by coordinating purchase orders, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Collaborate with internal teams to gather procurement requirements and provide support in sourcing the necessary materials or services. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices. Ensure that procurement documentation is up to date and filed properly for future reference. Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, track shipments, and resolve any discrepancies in orders or deliveries. Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance and support the procurement team in improving relationships with key suppliers. Ensure that all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Provide regular updates to the procurement manager on order statuses and vendor compliance. Qualifications: Fluent in English as this role will be supporting a large portion of US operations. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
