We're looking for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Associate to join our client's Investment Team, focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in healthcare and life sciences software companies. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with senior investment professionals and advisors to drive impactful strategies and enhance portfolio performance. Ideal candidates bring a strong work ethic, a background in healthcare, life sciences, or technology, and experience in investment banking or consulting. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to: Perform in-depth due diligence and analysis on potential investments, and produce detailed, top-tier quality investment memos and materials that enable the client's key investment decisions. Build and maintain complex financial models, valuations, financial forecasts, and bespoke company and industry analyses. Conduct detailed sector and company-level analysis, including primary and secondary research. Complete thesis development and investment sourcing efforts through client targeting and landscaping; business development, outreach, industry events; CRM management; and more. Undertake unique and exciting client growth platform initiatives with portfolio companies, including day-to-day contributions to sales and marketing, technology, operations, and other areas. Perform continuous monitoring of portfolio company performance, operational and financial results, and provide insights into growth opportunities and improvement areas. Support investor relations, fundraising, and LP development, communications, and presentations. Participate in, prepare, and provide support for meetings and interactions with internal and external parties (e.g., intermediaries, co-sponsors, management teams, limited partners). Own, progress, and sustain key client resources and processes, including regular portfolio reporting, investment pipeline/CRM tools, firm databases, and internal evaluation assets. Regularly engage and interface with mid-level and senior investment team members. Minimum Qualifications: Fluent English proficiency at B2 level or higher (verifiable). Degree in business, finance, economics, or related fields. 2 - 3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity. Industry experience in healthcare, life sciences and/or technology is preferred. A high level of interest and demonstrated knowledge and passion for health care/health tech. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Exemplary business writing and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques/methods and financial statement analysis. Highly motivated self-starter with genuine desire to learn and take on a high degree of responsibility. Ability to "run with" complex and sometimes ambiguous assignments, and thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with limited supervision.
