Purpose The main purpose of the Pricing role is to develop, implement, and optimize pricing strategies that maximize the company's profitability and competitiveness in the market. This role is crucial to ensuring that the company's products and services are appropriately valued, balancing customer perception with the company's financial objectives. A Pricing specialist works closely with various departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to align pricing strategies with business goals and adapt to market dynamics. This includes processing credit notes, changing prices, SKUs, and list prices to collaborate with the efficiency of the markets. For Trade Spend, the role is to manage and optimize trade spend to improve the efficiency of promotional activities, ensuring that resources allocated to promotions, discounts, and other commercial activities are used effectively, generating the greatest possible impact on sales and profitability. Top Accountabilities Provide financial analysis as needed in the claiming process for open items (price differences, incomplete payments, commercial charges, etc). Ensure quality and fulfillment of Diageo requirements for customers. Provide financial and commercial teams with guidance and information about business risks and potential mitigation plans. Influence the commercial and financial teams during the business decision-making process. Build and maintain a high-quality and effective internal control area. Deliver successful internal & external (GAR - PwC) audits. Qualifications and Experience Required Essential: Business Administration, International Business, or Accounting university degree. Financial or related experience (4 years). Pricing and trade spend management experience. Strong analytical skills. Strong customer service attitude. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong MS Office knowledge. Fluent English. Desirable: System skills (SAP knowledge). Having an overview of market and customer specifics.
