JOB PURPOSE We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR Manager to lead proactive communication strategies and develop evergreen content for our diverse products and communication verticals. The PR Manager will be responsible for overseeing media outreach, managing relationships with global media outlets, and driving content strategy that aligns with media placement objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of media relations, team leadership, and the ability to generate new market opportunities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop Proactive Communication Programs:Design and implement communication programs focused on our various products and communication verticals.Create evergreen content to ensure consistent media presence and long-term brand visibility.Media Engagement Strategies:Develop and execute media engagement strategies to establish strong relationships with key outlets.Manage the approach and messaging used to target and collaborate with media partners.Lead Media Outreach Team:Lead a high-performing team focused on efficient media outreach and relationship management.Ensure the team develops and maintains key contacts across various media platforms.New Market Development:Identify and engage new market opportunities through relationship-building with international media.Organize and lead virtual meetings with global media outlets to promote our brand and products.Lead Content Strategy:Oversee the content creation process, ensuring it aligns with media placement strategies.Collaborate with the content team to design necessary materials for media engagement.Media Monitoring and Reporting:Track media outreach efforts, assess their impact, and provide regular reports to senior leadership.Ensure all media activities are aligned with overall corporate communications goals.JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions with a focus on global media.Proficient in media tracking tools and analytics reporting.Experience working at a startup is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication.Thorough and detail-oriented – execute high-quality work and keep the information up-to-date.Flexible and adaptable – can manage change and work comfortably with ambiguity.Team player – works well in a collaborative environment.Being fluent in English and Spanish is desirable.
