PLANT PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST   Responsibilities: The Plant Procurement Specialist is responsible for resolving service and quality issues for the plant.
He/she will ensure the identification, implementation and maintenance of the lowest "total cost" supply strategies with the best possible service and quality for all materials required by internal customers.
He/she will also support and implement the strategies developed by the global Category Manager and the Division Category Procurement Manager.
The Plant Procurement Specialist will also support FTG generation and implementation.
He/she will be the key support for the local Supply Chain management with respect to FTG, supplier issues, etc.
The Plant Procurement will support or lead negotiation of supply/service agreements with identified CMs, as well as ensure Colgate planning and quality systems are integrated with 3rd Party Providers.
He/She is also responsible for the on going relationship management of the selected 3rd party Contract Manufactures.
The Plant Procurement Specialist will also support the re-imagine & E2E strategies by living and promoting   B-Sharp & FEED principles while living ED&I as well   Core Responsibilities:  Accountable for the Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and working with the local Supply Chain Executes effective negotiations for specific local raw and packaging materials Implements and monitors the Procurement budget for the specific materials of responsibility Accountable for optimizing raw and packing material inventories against Customer Service and working capital targets Ensures the highest level of Customer Service is provided to our Customers through the development and maintenance of order replenishment best practices  Interfaces with suppliers' sales, technical and other functional groups as well as Colgate Supply Chain, Technology, Marketing and Finance functions to enforce Purchasing policies, resolves issues, aligns service and financial strategies Together with New Product launch teams, ensures new products are executed effectively Executes efforts in using "e-tools" (auctions, e-Savings, etc.)
to help drive Funding the Growth, simplification and standardization programs Coordinates implementation of SMI with appropriate suppliers for the relevant plant  Accountable for adhering to Colgate-Palmolive, and governmental guidelines related to EHS, Quality, and Regulatory for materials of responsibility.
Develops awareness, and influences compliance with local government laws and regulations pertaining to materials   Continues to improve oneself by way of training, information sharing, coaching and feedback, appraisals, delegation and implementing best practices Develops documented understanding of local market structure and drivers for his/her materials, with risk management overview, and identifies opportunities and threats for the Reinforce foundational supply assurance by reducing single source risk, ensuring dual qualification for new items, and reviewing business continuity plans with key suppliers in all stages of procurement.
Support Colgate sustainability initiatives for pack materials including SRSA & CDP programs Accountable for Procurement SAP and transactional activities, Translate market data into effective reports using analytics tools to drive effective decisions, identify opportunities and anticipate potential risks for the future.
Executes effective negotiations for PCP materials & OC Pack    Materials Monitors and updates the Procurement budget (uploads and reporting), Maintains purchasing conditions updated in SAP.
Reviews and supports in payment issues (Fix price, ePay, Taulia).
Leverages SAP in day-to-day function to report key measures: procurement KPIs, ESM tracking, Contracts coverage, VSC, PPV, PSA, SMI Works on e-Sourcing/RFP process preparation for B&C materials Supports Risk Management activities and keeps responsibility for Suppliers due diligence       Prepares Financial Health Assessment in area of his/her responsibility and support contracts program in place to protect the business Contributes to local Funding the Growth Programs by updating FTG databases and        preparing necessary reports Plans and executes data cleansing initiatives Continues to improve oneself by way of training, information sharing, coaching and feedback, appraisals, delegation and implementing best practices Continues to improve oneself by way of training, information sharing, coaching and feedback, appraisals, delegation and implementing best practices   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor´s  Degree in a Technical (Engineering) or Business Field, CPM and/or MBA desirable 2+ years Purchasing, Supply Chain or International Business experience SAP experience is an advantage Be able to manage Cross-Functional, Cross-Regional Collaboration Ability to drive Project Management  Good English Level Supply Chain systems & Analysis Experience with analitical tools (desirable) Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Achieving our purpose starts with our people — ensuring our workforce represents the people and communities we serve —and creating an environment where our people feel they belong; where we can be our authentic selves, feel treated with respect and have the support of leadership to impact the business in a meaningful way.
