We are looking for a new Planning Manager to join the MetLife Colombia team. What will you do in this role? Support annual budgeting and monthly reporting processes for the Country ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with local, regional and corporate objectives. Prepare and present financial results, variance analysis, key performance indicators, and business drivers to senior management and stakeholders. Partner with the Business Channels and Functional Areas to provide financial analysis, business insights, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and profitability improvement. Contribute to strategic planning activities by providing financial insights and analysis to support long-term business objectives. Coordinate and consolidate the local submissions for various regional, corporate and external reporting requirements, such as earnings releases, board presentations, investor relations, and regulatory filings. Support continuous improvement and standardization of financial processes, systems, and tools across the region. Ensure compliance with MetLife's policies, procedures, and internal controls. Analyze and manage costs across the organization to optimize resource allocation and improve profitability. To help you succeed, you need… Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field. At least 7 years of professional experience in financial, accounting, or actuarial areas. Relevant experience in financial in the insurance or financial services industry. Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and business acumen. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, AI and financial systems. Possess agility needed to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment. Knowledge of technology and efficiency tools to enhance financial processes and reporting. Ability to handle a fluid and demanding work environment, with frequent and time sensitive requests from internal/external stakeholders. Role requires someone who demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Advanced level of oral and written English. Level > B2. And it will be a plus if you… Have prior experience working in US Multinational companies, the business, strategy, or finance functions. MBA or CPA preferred. Experience with Hyperion and AI tools, programming skills (e.g Python). Knowledge in US GAAP accounting.
