This role involves conducting comprehensive market assessments, developing sustainable logistics strategies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of Net Zero practices in pharmaceutical logistics .
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics , sustainability, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities: Market Assessment: Conduct thorough market research across the LATAM region to identify current trends, challenges, and opportunities in pharmaceutical logistics related to Net Zero emissions.
Analyze the regulatory landscape, market demands, and technological advancements impacting sustainable logistics .
Prepare detailed market assessment reports and present findings to senior management and project stakeholders.
Sustainable Logistics Strategy Development: Develop and implement logistics strategies aimed at achieving Net Zero emissions in pharmaceutical supply chains.
Identify and evaluate sustainable logistics practices, including alternative transportation methods, energy-efficient technologies, and green packaging solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and implement sustainable logistics solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, logistics providers, regulatory bodies, and industry experts, to gather insights and build support for Net Zero initiatives.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to align stakeholders on project goals and strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure ongoing collaboration and support.
Project Management: Manage the Net Zero Market Assessment project, ensuring timely and successful completion of project milestones.
Monitor and report on project progress, including key performance indicators and sustainability metrics.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to logistics operations, emissions, and sustainability performance.
Develop models and tools to assess the environmental impact of different logistics scenarios.
Prepare and present reports on project outcomes, sustainability impacts, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainable logistics and Net Zero initiatives.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the project team and the organization.
Identify opportunities for further reducing emissions and enhancing sustainability in pharmaceutical logistics .
Qual ifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., science, engineering.
computer science) or business field (e.g., business administration, finance, statistics).
Degree in environmental science, sustainability or similar is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry or life sciences conducting thorough market research related to Net Zero emissions . 5+ years of experience in implementing programs and initiatives to realize GHG emissions reduction goals, especially internal education, governance and change management initiatives and/or the engagement of customers and suppliers.
Strong knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other relevant regulations involving sustainability.
Project Management experience providing solutions and strategies to enhance projects .
