Necessary Skills Excellent written and verbal English proficiency Planning and organizing – prioritize work, use time efficiently Problem Solving – identifies and resolves problems, gathers and analyzes information, develops solutions, works well in group problem solving situations Oral Communication – speaks clearly and persuasively, listens and gets clarification when necessary Negotiation skills – influences others for the good of the organization Quality – demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve performance Adaptability – adapts to changes in the work Written communication – writes clearly and concisely, edits work Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel Manages conflict and resolves problems in a professional manner Detailed oriented Fastidious with follow up Bonus: Experience and working knowledge of Building, Septic, and Well permits applications and submittal requirements, or similar processes Job Responsibilities Prepare, organize, and assemble all necessary documentation required for permitting new home construction and submission to the County Building Department Obtain all utility permits and implement new service requests for water and power utilities Track and request Notices of Commencements (NOC) as needed Track, organize and communicate daily updates of permit submittals and update status to the team Create computer documentation and spreadsheets to share with management Order and organize required surveys and prepare necessary site plans Manage, evaluate, organize, and assign warranty work to appropriate subcontractors. Act as liaison between warranty company, subcontractor and homeowner. Enroll new homes into warranty program Request construction inspections as directed by team Provide and assemble requested information for new home closings to title company and team members. Monitor, arrange, and request appraisals.
Complete necessary documentation for HUD forms and coordinate closings with realtors.
