This role is ideal for a data and process-centric, tech-savvy, self-starting, problem-solver early in their career in HR technology. This role will provide services and support in systems maintenance and administration (primarily Workday), reporting and analytics, as well as providing help desk support as needed. Experience with Workday is highly desirable, but not a strict requirement for this role. Experience with other enterprise HR systems like SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, UKG, and ADP Workforce Now are useful starting points. This role demands the capacity to self-determine and resolve knowledge gaps quickly through a combination of on-the-job training, utilization of publicly available documentation and supporting resources, self-directed experimentation, and practical application of learnings to develop real-world solutions. What You'll Do: Conduct Full-Cycle HRIS Administration and Enablement Services Support the HRIS software development lifecycle by assisting with the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements and updates. Learn the functions and capabilities of our core people systems platforms to support development and deployment of enhancements, updates, or net new functionality within core HR, Compensation, Time and Absence, Payroll, Talent and Performance Management, Recruiting, Integrations, and other modules as needs arise. Produce documentation of system workflows, procedures, and test cases. Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency of HRIS operations. Create, maintain, and occasionally deliver job aids or training resources critical to the proper use and function of the HR system for our users - knowledge articles, videos, or live trainings. Collaborate with the HR and IT teams to ensure system changes meet business needs and are delivered on time. Deliver Reporting & Analytics Insights and Support: Build and maintain HR reports and dashboards for key HR metrics and analytics requests both within the HRIS (Workday) or in external reporting and analysis tools like Google Sheets, Excel, etc. Extract, analyze, and present data to provide insights for decision-making. Assist with HR compliance efforts, including reporting, system audits, and ensuring data privacy and confidentiality. Assist in data reconciliation and regular system audits to ensure data integrity, including performance of administrative tasks such as data entry and management of high-volume data downloads/uploads from or to the HRIS. Provide People Operations and HR Service Desk Support Respond to escalated HR service desk tickets that require advanced analysis or interpretation of system behavior. Diagnose and troubleshoot HRIS issues, working to ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with other People Team members and cross-functional groups to resolve complex system issues affecting end users. Provide support for other People Operations programs and projects as needed. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry (including high-volume data loads), report downloads/uploads, and system updates to support the HRIS. Self-Directed Learner: You operate effectively in environments with little internal documentation or formal training programs; and, you regularly identify new things to learn and actively seek out resources like forums, videos, peer knowledge, or vendor documentation to understand capabilities and experiment with new practices or configurations. Organized & Detail-Oriented: You have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a keen attention to detail. Professionally Agile: You can adjust or pivot your focus to accommodate changing priorities and timelines, maintaining a high level of efficiency and quality in your work. Preferred Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday. Experience troubleshooting system issues and supporting service desk escalations. Familiarity with HR reporting tools and building custom dashboards. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English. Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in GSuite, Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS systems. Responsibilities Workday System Management: Oversee and maintain the Workday system, ensuring its optimal performance and alignment with HR and business needs. Module Expertise: Provide expertise in various Workday modules such as HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Absence and Time Tracking, and U.S. Payroll. Integration Management: Lead Workday integration projects, with a strong emphasis on Workday Studio integrations and expertise in connectors, automations, and boomerang integrations. Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within HRIS. Data Integrity and Security: Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of HRIS data through effective control and security measures. User Support and Training: Provide support and training to HRIS users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the system. Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with Workday and other vendors to resolve issues, update systems, and implement new functionalities. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and provide relevant reports and analytics to support HR and business decision-making. Proficiency with Composite and Matrix reports is highly preferred, as well as the use and deployment of Worksheets and Discovery Boards. Change Management: Stays up to date on the latest developments of Workday and implements change rapidly to take full advantage of our subscription. Requirements English Language Proficiency: B2+ Level of English Proficiency. HRIS Proficiency: Extensive experience with Workday modules, including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Absence & Time-Tracking, and U.S. Payroll. Integration Experience: Strong experience in HRIS integrations, particularly with Workday Studio. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex HRIS projects. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders. Project Management: Proven project management skills with the ability to lead HRIS-related projects. Key Qualities Curious: Deeply curious about the problems and opportunities of the organization and finds ways to bring technology-driven solutions to improve operations and employee satisfaction. Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of system configuration and data management. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve technology and configuration-related issues swiftly. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the healthcare organization and its diverse workforce. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, a related field, or adequate, relevant work experience in lieu of degree or formal credentials. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish. Relevant Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in HRIS management.
