This Role As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our People Team. This role is focused on managing and optimizing our HR systems and processes, contributing to the operational efficiency of the People Team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture. This is not an employee-facing role but rather one centered around HR operations and systems management. Responsibilities Lead and manage complex HR projects such as compensation review cycles, contract negotiations, and system implementations. Develop project plans, coordinate resources, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives. Streamline HR operations to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Oversee PTO accruals, Leaves of Absence, US Payroll Processing, and Benefits Administration. Serve as the main POC for HR systems, Compensation Benchmarking, various HR-related audits, and provide guidance and support to colleagues to ensure effective process management. Qualifications Experience with and strong proficiency in/with: Project managing systems implementations and integrations at scale Owning the full life cycle of US payroll and benefits administration, including running Open Enrollment cycles Designing, implementing, and administering compensation cycles BambooHR, Lever, Small Improvements, and CultureAmp or similar HR systems. Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets skills Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage complex projects with tight deadlines, and proactively identify areas for improvement. Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR Operations, within a multinational startup environment. Fluent English language proficiency is required for this role as we have a highly diverse and global business; Fluent Spanish and Portuguese language is a plus.
