Close cooperation with Operations and HR departments to ensure accurate reporting of payroll. Ensure payroll journal entries and accruals are recorded in the general ledger in a timely manner and are accurate. Assist performing monthly payroll and tip reconciliations as part of the month-end close procedures. To perform all additional work designated by the Senior Accountant as needed. Qualifications Experience & Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting. 3-5 years of proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated experience in all areas of payroll and payroll processing inclusive of payroll tax. Experience in payroll processing for more than 500 employees. Initiative and self-driven desire for excellence. Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel. Proficiency in English. Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills.
