About the role: We are looking for a great team player to join as the next Payroll Analyst to lead Payroll operations in Colombia and back up for LATAM countries. In this role, you will support Payroll processes for employees at all levels of seniority within the organization. What you will do: Processing payroll working closely with vendors and internal customers. Updating payroll records by reviewing and approving changes. Optimizing payroll execution systems and processes, to facilitate the collection, calculation, and entering of data. Supporting employee queries relating to payroll as they arise, working with in-country payroll processors to do so. Managing relationships with stakeholders such as the payroll vendors, Finance, wider HRBPs, 3rd Party payroll providers, and employees. Ensuring compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security. Supporting required monthly reconciliations with the Finance team. Responding to audit procedures and control reports to ensure the accurate processing of payroll. Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Leading onboarding and offboarding paperwork. Keeping track of contracts and work permits expiration. Processing data into payroll and administrative databases and software. Preparing periodic payroll reports. Preparing financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes. Tracking medical leave payments. Understanding payroll processes for LATAM countries as backup. What you need to succeed: Detail-oriented, analytical, and methodical thinking skills. Experience in Payroll administration and strong knowledge of payroll regulations. Great sense of confidentiality. Bachelor's degree in finance, HR management, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Excellent command of the Office suite (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel). 2-3 years of Payroll experience (accounting/payroll processing). Understanding of the principles of labor legislation. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, inquire, and resolve problems.
