Key Responsibilities: Produce accurate and timely payrolls in multiple jurisdictions across Canada while adhering to tight deadlines. Manage multiple, full-cycle payrolls for client employees. Process timely and accurate payrolls while updating and maintaining payroll records. Maintain voluntary and involuntary deductions and prepare requisitions for payment. Prepare and issue manual cheques as required by client. Work well under pressure while adhering to and meeting strict deadlines. Build healthy working relationships with clients as well as peers. Identify and escalate issues to manager in a timely manner for quick resolution. Knowledge of Employment Standards to ensure compliance. Maintain knowledge and keep up to date with legislative changes. Prepare monthly/quarterly remittances to various provincial agencies.
