This role requires expertise in email infrastructure, specifically with private email systems as well as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. As our Inbox Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and optimizing our clients' email infrastructure to ensure high deliverability and optimal inbox placement. You should have a deep understanding of email protocols (SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and email reputation management. Key Responsibilities: Set up and maintain email infrastructure for both clients and internal use, ensuring scalability and compliance with privacy standards. Manage and monitor email health (reputation, deliverability, authentication), using tools such as Postmaster, SendGrid, or Mailgun. Perform regular domain health checks and generate weekly reports on performance metrics, including sender score, IP reputation, and inbox placement rates, both for internal teams and client transparency. Troubleshoot deliverability issues and provide proactive recommendations to improve domain and email health. Stay informed and adapt to new cold email and domain infrastructure tools and trends, ensuring our processes and systems stay ahead of the curve and remain compliant with best practices. Implement and enforce email best practices (list hygiene, email warm-up, cold outreach optimization), keeping our outreach campaigns compliant with legal standards such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of email deliverability and experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and custom/private email infrastructures. Familiarity with email authentication standards like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Proficiency with domain health monitoring tools and strategies for maintaining high sender reputation. Proven experience managing cold email campaigns while ensuring high inbox placement rates.
