Employment Type: Indefinite Term Contract Shift: Monday to Friday | 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CST Work Setup: Work from Home Responsibilities: Your Legal & Leadership Impact Paralegal Duties: Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and summaries Manage and organize case files, ensuring timely and proper filing of documents with courts Communicate with clients and coordinate meetings, providing exceptional client service Support case preparation by gathering documents, conducting interviews, and maintaining evidence Participate in virtual and in-person meetings, collaborating closely with the legal team Office Manager Duties: Structure the firm's processes, workflows, and KPIs for effective client matter management and service delivery Develop and implement operational infrastructure, including technology, legal software, and office systems Oversee daily administrative functions, including calendar management, client onboarding, and staff coordination Assist with financial management tasks, including billing, budgeting, and resource allocation Coordinate with vendors and manage firm-wide communications to ensure smooth operations Contribute to developing the sales process to ensure leads receive the highest standard of service and attention Requirements Qualifications Needed: Skills to Lead with Confidence Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more relevant practice areas Strong preference for prior experience in law firm office management or legal operations Proficiency in legal research tools, case management software, and office productivity applications Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities Spanish fluency is highly preferred Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Passion for innovation in legal practice, with a drive to build and improve systems Tech stack: ClickUp, Google Workspace, CLIO Benefits Benefits: Perks of Joining the Team 5-day work week with weekends off Work-from-home arrangement for a flexible, comfortable work life 20 vacation days per year Comprehensive prepaid medical plan Customized Emapta laptop and peripherals Indefinite term contract for job stability Direct client exposure for professional growth Opportunities for career advancement in a globally engaged team Free upskilling through Emapta Academy courses (Want to know more?
