What You Will Do Responsible for leading development and qualification of tertiary packaging associated with new product and cost improvement, including end-to-end line qualification to meet the requirements for manufacturing a dynamic and diverse portfolio of products. This individual will be responsible for all required specifications, documentation, line trials and testing to support product release. The individual will be taking a leadership role with tertiary packaging projects along with improvements and cost reduction of existing packages. The person should possess the ability to influence and interface with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Support feasibility study, evaluation and business justification related to tertiary packaging for New Product Development (NPD), New Product Introduction (NPI) and Improvements & cost reduction for existing packages. Responsible for tertiary packaging development, including trade customization, artwork development, specifications, configuration, palletization and transportation tests, for both internal and external manufacturing. Define and execute tertiary packaging development plan. Analyze and validate tertiary packaging technical drawing. Create tertiary Packaging Component (PC) Specifications and Decorated (DC) Specifications. Manage all Master Data Management (MDM) flow related to tertiary packaging. Establish packaging requirements to achieve OEE target. Support in Design-Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (D-FMEA) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) jointly with Packaging team. Conduct end-to-end production line process qualification and performance qualification for Filling and Packing Machine. Develop protocol and documentation for technical requirements that need to be delivered to achieve line performance. Define and communicate tertiary packaging milestones, evaluate and communicate risks with associated mitigation plan, to ensure projects are always delivered with quality and compliance, and within timeline and budget. Communicate and collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Global Packaging, Production, Quality and Procurement team, to ensure developed packaging materials meet with consumers, customers and stakeholder's needs. Explore innovative tertiary packaging concepts and designs that align to sustainability requirements and business needs. Explore new industrial technology, and keep up-to-date with the techniques, equipment and materials being used and developed for Consumer Industries. Support in troubleshooting on issues related to tertiary packaging and line qualification. Execute all line trials for primary and secondary packaging materials with corresponding documentation in close collaboration with Global Packaging. Develop Technical Document (TEC) guideline for detailing requirements for packaging materials, to ensure an efficient and high level performance of the packaging lines. Manage both Material Event Notification (MEN) and Supplier Event Notification (SEN), to maintain quality of tertiary packaging materials. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Packaging, Engineering or a related Science field. A minimum of 1-2 years experience in Cosmetic, Personal Care, OTC, Food or related industry. Experience in packaging line trials and testing, and exposure to different packaging technologies and work processes. In-depth knowledge of tools and processes used in manufacturing, e.g. DfM, D-FMEA, MDM, BOM, GCC, Root Cause Analysis, Statistics, Lean Manufacturing. Understanding of GMP, Hygiene Practice and Quality System requirements. Strong technical writing and documentation skills. Good project management skills, and ability to prioritize, initiate and drive projects to completion. Demonstrate proactive, flexible and positive attitude. Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in a close and multi-discipline environment, and maintain positive and tactful relationships with others. Ability to network and interact effectively with a broad range of associates spanning varied disciplines and responsibilities. Ability to lead the team effectively across functions and functional levels. Fluent in English written and oral communication and presentation skills.
