Job Description As a Freight Brokerage Operations Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of a fast-paced, cross-border logistics operation.
You'll manage client requests, negotiate rates, and coordinate shipments for a wide array of commodities.

Responsibilities Fulfill client shipping needs efficiently, managing requests from start to finish Negotiate competitive rates with trucking companies to maximize value Cultivate strong relationships with clients and carriers through effective communication Handle paperwork, including load confirmations and carrier contracts Onboard new trucking companies and maintain carrier profiles Strategically post loads on boards and manage incoming inquiries Coordinate complex logistics, including pickups, deliveries, and cross-border shipments Promptly address client emails and inquiries throughout the workday Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to delays, customs, or border crossings Manage diverse shipments across Canada, the US, and cross-border routes Requirements Proven track record in truck dispatching or freight brokerage (minimum 2-3 years experience) Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal Strong negotiation abilities and a customer-centric approach Self-starter with excellent decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in logistics software, particularly ITS Dispatch Experience with RingCentral or similar phone systems Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours (9 AM to 5 PM ET) Adaptability to handle diverse commodities and shipping routes Passion for logistics and desire to grow with a expanding company Independent Contractor Perks HMO Coverage for eligible locations Permanent work from home Immediate hiring Steady freelance job ZR_17477_JOB
