Role Name : Executive Assistant / Admin Assistant - Logistics Industry

Schedule :

- Full-time, 7am-4pm North Carolina Time (7 : 00 PM to 4 : 00 AM Manila TIme);with 1 hour break
- Client Time : North Carolina

Job Description


We're seeking a versatile Executive Assistant / Virtual Assistant to become the backbone of our operations. In this role, you'll wear multiple hats, managing crucial administrative tasks while contributing to our sales and marketing efforts.

You'll be the key facilitator of communication between trucking companies, shippers, and our internal team. This position offers exciting growth potential in the fast-paced logistics industry, with opportunities to learn and expand your skillset across various business functions.

Responsibilities

- Manage and prioritize email communications, ensuring timely follow-ups
- Schedule and coordinate appointments with carriers, contractors, and clients
- Assist with basic accounting tasks and bill payments
- Support project management initiatives, including warehouse operations
- Facilitate effective communication between different parties in the logistics chain
- Contribute to sales efforts by persuading carriers to work with our brokerage
- Gather and relay critical information between the CEO and contractors
- Assist in marketing efforts and website development

- Adapt to various ad-hoc tasks as they arise in this dynamic startup environment

Requirements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to be persuasive
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Experience in a service-based business, preferably in logistics or related field
- Proficiency in communication tools like Discord
- Quick learner with adaptability to handle various tasks and situations
- Understanding of US business communication norms and practices
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Comfortable with technology and willingness to learn new software as needed
