Nursing Training Officer

MAJOR ROLE The Nursing Training Officer is responsible for establishing a program for staff development through orientation of staff nurses and nursing aides, skills training for the improvement of nursing services, leadership and management program, incidental learning, and other staff development programs in accordance with the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Hospital. Responsibilities Develop and provide nursing training activities and/or programs in setting and sustaining the standards in nursing skills, protocols, and practices for use by EMSH. Conduct and facilitate "On-Boarding Training" for newly hired nurses. Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff. Assist in the creation, review, and revision of the different nursing policies, if needed. Assist and conduct regular audits and inspections of protocols and practices implemented to maintain quality control. Requirements Must be a PRC Board Passer (Nursing Licensure). Must have participated in and passed leadership and management seminars in clinical nursing. Must have two (2) years direct patient care in Medical-Surgical and/or area of specialty. At least 2-3 years related work experience as Development Training Officer or equivalent. Amenable to work in San Pedro, Laguna. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent #J-18808-Ljbffr
