Must have experience in Perioperative Services Perioperative Services is composed of Pre-Admission Testing, Preop (16 bays), Operating Room (3 OR Rooms and a C-Section Room), Special Procedures (3 procedure rooms) PACU/Recovery area (9 bays), and Central Sterile( instruments are processed). We provide Surgical Procedures for Cardiovascular, ENT, General, GI, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Pain Management, Pulmonology, Urology. Currently we see about 350 patients a month. This role assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort. The Nurse Clinician provides direction, education, leadership and accountability for program development, implementation and evaluation in area of responsibility. Special consideration will be given for applicants enrolled in Baccalaureate to Doctoral programs who will not attain a Master's degree and may require longer than 36 months to complete the terminal degree. Education/training PREFERRED:Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
