Objectives: Assist clients and CFOs in developing company strategies and financial goals.
Provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO through reporting and system development.
Lead and manage the activities of Accountants and Bookkeepers for transactional accounting.
Cultivate strong client and team relationships while optimizing work processes for our remote system.
Support the development and implementation of short and long-term operational strategies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate, analyze, and report financial data to senior management for informed decision-making.
Collaborate with the CFO to prepare metrics, statistics, and financial updates.
Implement and oversee accounts receivable/payable, payroll procedures, and treasury/AP control.
Ensure accuracy of transaction records, including general ledger maintenance.
Lead month-end and year-end close processes and coordinate tax and book audits.
Establish financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards in conjunction with the CFO.
Create and manage reports and financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP principles.
Monitor accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to meet GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements: 7+ years of progressive accounting/bookkeeping experience.
Deep understanding of international GAAP principles.
Proven industry experience in a senior accounting role, with audit experience preferred.
Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices.
Professional accounting certification (CMA, CGA, CPA, CA) is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in English and Excel.
Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (SAP, QB, etc.)
is a plus.
Flexibility with working hours to accommodate meetings across multiple time zones.
Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability in economic and banking processes, along with team management capabilities.
