We are seeking a talented .NET Core Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services built on the .NET Core platform. You will work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role requires expertise in modern software development practices and a passion for delivering efficient, scalable, and secure applications. As a .Net Core Engineer you will be in charge of: Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core and other Microsoft technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to design and implement robust and scalable software solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and adhering to coding standards. Implement and optimize databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), ensuring efficient and secure data storage and retrieval. Integrate third-party services and APIs into .NET Core applications, enhancing functionality and ensuring seamless communication between systems. Perform code reviews and debugging to ensure quality and performance across the application lifecycle. Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making, ensuring solutions align with long-term business goals. Work within Agile teams, participating in sprints, daily stand-ups, and iterative development processes. Ensure application security by implementing best practices such as encryption, authentication, and authorization in .NET Core applications. Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize code and infrastructure for scalability and speed. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in .NET Core, cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS), and modern software engineering practices. To be successful at this role, we expect you to have the following experience and skills: You must reside in Chile or Colombia Advanced English skills Experience developing web applications using .NET Core and the .NET Framework. Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core for building modern web applications and APIs. Experience with RESTful API design and development using .NET Core. Proficiency in SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database interactions. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns. Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies. Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS for deploying and managing .NET Core applications. Strong knowledge of security best practices in web development, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments. Preferred Skills: Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems. Knowledge of cloud-native development and serverless architecture. Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and test-driven development (TDD). Familiarity with DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD automation.
