Mortgage Investigator

SUMMARY: The Mortgage Investigator is responsible for producing quality credit reports by editing and verifying the credit information of customers within an expected turnaround time. OBJECTIVES: Maintain and/or exceed the average number of completed files as set by the company. Adhere to the company's turnaround time expectations for returning completed files to clients. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND OTHER ABILITIES): Bachelor's degree in Economic, Administrative sciences or related (Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Relations and/or Business, Accounting). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and professionally in both oral and written communication with proper grammar. Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability with superior problem-solving skills. High level of common sense and the ability to follow directions and instructions. Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively in a team environment. Thorough understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, etc.). Ability to type and enter information accurately. 1-2 years of related experience in the credit or banking industry, customer service, credit processing, and/or training.
