What you will do Design, build, and maintain messaging products that enhance Indeed's hiring journey and user experience; Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions; Tackle technical debt and ensure system stability by maintaining existing applications and addressing unanticipated requests from external teams; Implement efficient and scalable solutions using Java, Kotlin, or Scala for the backend, with React and Redux on the frontend; Use best practices to write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers on the team. Must haves +3 years of experience using Java, Kotlin or Scala ; Frontend development experience; Experience with modern databases such as MongoDB, MySQL , or other SQL/NoSQL databases ; Expertise in building RESTful or GraphQL APIs , with a focus on scalability and maintainability; Upper-intermediate English level.
