As a member of our Agile team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, APIs, and microservices using Ruby on Rails.You will play a key role in designing innovative solutions and ensuring the scalability and efficiency of our applications.Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and microservices using Ruby on Rails.- Quickly adapt to new technologies and patterns, taking a leading role in designing innovative solutions.- Design and develop scalable applications and tools in an Agile environment.- Strong English communication skills required.- Utilize analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges. Technical Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.- Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience in an Agile environment.- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, with a strong understanding of MVC frameworks and routing.- Skilled in managing Ruby dependencies using Bundler.- Experienced in writing and maintaining Rspec tests.- Advanced knowledge of Git for version control.- Familiarity with SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.- Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.- Knowledge of JavaScript and Single Page Application (SPA) development.- Basic understanding of networking and network layer topology.- Experience working in an Agile environment and using Scrum methodologies.- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders. Bonus Skills :- Experience with cloud services (like AWS, Azure and GCP)- Experience with TypeScript- Instrumenting application monitoring and alerting
