Description Medical Assistants are an important part of the care team who work closely with our licensed practitioners to provide care for our patients. This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams.
This is a Part Time role. HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics across the Spokane Metro Area (including Spokane: Downtown, North, & South; Liberty Lake; Airway Heights; and Spokane Valley). We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview.
The job utilizes a combination of skills including: Clerical computer and phone skillsMedical terminologyHands-on clinical skillsTypical job skills include: Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressureUpdating medications, allergies and other information in patient's medical recordsPerforming some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testingThis is a combined posting for Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical Assistant.
