Description Accountable for creating monthly and weekly production requirements and inventory plans that meet demand requirements from the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Utilizes capacity analysis and customer service policies to govern schedules and finished product inventory plans. Responsible for creating and executing master scheduling time horizons and periods in accordance with business strategies and policies. May be responsible for master plans for single or multiple plants. Works with demand managers, operations and unit managers, supervisors, material planners, schedulers and customer service. Responsible for continuous improvement of the master scheduling process and performance. This position can be based either in Bogotá (CO), Cartagena (CO) or Guadalajara (MX). Responsibilities Develops the Master Production Schedule at the detailed level (disaggregate/SKU). Translates the demand requirements and supply capability into a time-phased supply and inventory plan in monthly resolution over the Integrated Business Planning horizon that satisfies expected demand, is capacity feasible and at the lowest business cost. Implement, execute, and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) policies to ensure stability and responsiveness. Analyze, monitor, and confirm the implementation of changes per plan for WD5-8. Identifies potential issues and risks. Escalates issues to global Master Planner/Portfolio Supply Chain Manager as necessary. Maintain and provide valid Available to Promise (ATP) data. Maintain inventory levels following inventory strategies per product. Identify and resolve conflicts with supply and demand and available capacity for the MPS horizon. Facilitate communication and interaction with Commercial, Manufacturing and Sourcing functions to effectively balance supply and demand in the mid-term horizon via the IBP process. Utilize "what if" simulations to evaluate proposed MPS changes to determine impact and execute the approved changes effectively. Plan and execute actions required to address unhealthy stock as applicable. Recommend disposition of obsolete or slow-moving inventories as appropriate. Participate in the Integrated Business Planning process and meetings as required. Key interface with sales, demand management, customer service, marketing, engineering and production for the purpose of satisfying customer requirements. Key interface back to Portfolio Planning Managers and Asset Schedulers when required. Responsible for key master production planning metrics, root cause and corrective action. Maintain accurate data to support the master scheduling process (e.g. lead times, lot sizes, product wheel, and other operating rules and conditions). Maintain RCCP for assets and participate in Long Term Capacity Planning Yearly in collaboration with Asset Schedulers. Responsible for restocking plans and order submission of Intercompany products (Active Ingredients, bulk materials, Imported finished goods) as applicable. Qualifications Minimum 2 years work experience and demonstrated capability in planning, leading by influence and organizational skills. Six Sigma Green Belt certification. APICS Certification: Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). Operations, scheduling, and planning experience. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business. Excel (Advanced), Power BI and data management tools. Understanding of Supply Chain Fundamentals – APICS CSCP knowledge or equivalent work experience/education.
