This position is responsible for Home appliances & commercial (Oster brand) business unit marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image.
Responsible for the leadership of the brand's strategy in the country and it's P&L, to guarantee the achievement of results in the short, medium and long term.
Responsible to prepare annual / long marketing plans, set the marketing budget, analyses the market and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
The marketing manager also manages the day to day marketing and communications activities of the business unit, responsible for driving the growth of the brand within business unit and ensuring all aspects of its marketing and activation plan, including portfolio management, price strategy, new launches, digital advertising, calendar of campaigns and events, sales promotions, visual and agencies management.
Job Responsibilities Developing the marketing & brand strategy for the business unit in line with global business objectives.Creating 1, 3 and 5 year Colombia's marketing and communications strategy plan.Executing marketing and brand activation plan.P&L management of the brand, to ensure their growth in sales and profitability.Identify new business opportunities, categories and new products in the market, and implement the corresponding plan to capitalize on them.Determine and execute the pricing and promotion strategy for the brands in the market.Ensure proper, effective and on time flow of communications with global and other regional stakeholders within business unit while ensuring creating an effective internal networking.Driving brand awareness across various categories and products.Coordinating the creation and delivery of marketing materials and content.Reporting on data and industry trends relating to categories and verticals across latam within business unit.Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.Understand the habits & uses of the consumer and shopper to generate the best marketing strategies.Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.Successfully Launch new products developments within region and ensure informing about regional specific product needs.Utilize data of chooser and user insights to provide recommendations to drive category distribution and market share.Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.Analyze the competition and market variables to determine the threats that can impact the business.Build and promote strong, long-lasting cross functionally relationships with executives from other departments.
Qualifications Bachelor with degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering.10+ years of equivalent marketing experience.Full experience in mass consumption companies, managing brands with high investment budgets and in highly competitive markets.Full-time experience working on cross-functional projects.Fluent in English and Spanish Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer's, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
