Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for both the digital planner and Colony Confidential Podcast across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Craft engaging, data-driven content calendars that resonate with target audiences, spark conversations, and ultimately drive sales and podcast subscriptions
• Manage and publish high-quality content, including captivating captions, eye-catching visuals, informative blog posts, and interactive polls/quizzes
• Stay ahead of the curve by actively researching and implementing the latest social media trends and best practices
• Utilize social media analytics tools to track campaign performance, identify audience demographics and preferences, and optimize strategies for maximum impact
• Generate insightful reports to measure the success of social media campaigns and inform future strategies
• Collaborate with the podcast team to develop creative content ideas that enhance listenership and audience engagement
• Research, identify, and secure compelling podcast guests to expand the show's reach and attract new listeners
• Manage podcast production tasks, such as scheduling interviews, editing transcripts, and promoting new episodes across social media platforms
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and voice across all social media platforms and podcast content
• Foster positive brand communities through proactive engagement with followers and podcast listeners
• Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and build strong brand loyalty
Requirements • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing and content creation
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media campaigns that achieve measurable results
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms and analytics
• Expertise in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
• A passion for podcasts and a deep understanding of the podcasting landscape (e.g., production, promotion, audience engagement)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging content
• Data-driven mindset with a strong analytical skillset
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines efficiently
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
