The Opportunity Seeking a creative, strategic, and analytical Marketing Director to own and grow Urban Insight's marketing function working under the guidance of the CEO, COO, and Director of Client Development. The role includes defining and executing strategies and tactics to increase marketing qualified leads and the rate at which existing leads are converted into clients. Strategic and tactical, the Marketing Director will formally establish the marketing function, working as a marketing team of one with support from a cross-functional team. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy: Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy, including prioritization of marketing channels (conferences/field events, social media, email, paid advertising, etc.). Drive our growth via setting goals, defining target audiences, creating business cases for marketing activities based on impact, and managing the budget. Brand Awareness & Consistency: Develop and maintain our brand strategy, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing channels and sales deliverables to enhance brand visibility, recognition, and alignment with the company's mission. Integrated Campaigns & Funnels: Develop account-based marketing (ABM) messaging and successfully plan, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns and establish key B2B funnels to increase MQLs and achieve conversion goals or other business objectives. Conversion Optimization: Increase conversion rates through conversion rate analysis, A/B testing, UX and customer journey optimization, lead nurturing, and landing page optimization. Content Creation: Lead content development and creation across all channels for the agency including sales and marketing collateral, email, website and blog, whitepapers, video, newsletter, social media, and conference/field events. Analytics & Reporting: Using Hubspot and other available tools, provide detailed analysis and reports on conversion metrics, campaign performance, and ROI to recommend investment in marketing activities. Success Metrics In your first 3 months: Become an expert in the Urban Insight brand, success stories, services, audience, and current and previous marketing initiatives. Conduct an assessment and gap analysis of Urban Insight's current marketing efforts. Deliver marketing strategy with prioritized marketing activities and a tactical plan. Collaborate with sales to improve outbound sales scripts, establishing a meeting rate of 5%. Establish and report on key metrics that drive our growth. By the end of 2025: Increase MQLs back to 100-150 per year. Support sales meeting goal of $3.0mm of net new business. Support account management meeting goal of $1.2mm of new business from existing accounts. Qualifications & Requirements: 7+ years of experience in marketing, including demonstrable experience in developing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and executing campaigns across various channels. Ideal candidate will have experience marketing B2B Professional Services. Minimum CEFR C1 level with English (ideally C2). Demonstrated success growing MQLs and providing a strong ROI. Experience with experimentation and execution on a variety of digital marketing channels. Strong data analysis and prioritization skills. Bachelor's degree or higher required. Familiarity or willingness to learn marketing and digital tools. Compensation We offer a highly competitive salary, which depends on your qualifications and experience.
