Job Description The Marketing Automation Specialist is a critical member of the global Marketing Operations team, responsible for executing and optimizing marketing automation campaigns.
This role requires a strong understanding of marketing automation platforms (Pardot preferred), CRM systems (Salesforce), and digital marketing principles, particularly email marketing.
The ideal candidate will work closely with global marketing teams to translate their strategic goals into tactical execution within our marketing automation platform.
This includes tasks such as list management, campaign creation, form building, and performance analysis.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Data Governance and Integrity: Lead data hygiene efforts to maintain clean, actionable, and compliant data within the marketing automation and CRM platforms.
Establish and enforce data governance best practices, including deduplication, normalization, and validation.
Monitor compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data privacy regulations.
Develop and manage processes to ensure accurate segmentation, reporting, and attribution.
Platform Management: Efficiently manage and maintain marketing automation platform (Pardot) Oversee list imports, pulls, and unsubscribe requests Create and manage forms to capture lead information Upload and manage files within the platform Organize and maintain folder structures for efficient workflow Build and execute email campaigns, including A/B testing and personalization Conduct regular audits and clean-up of platform data and processes Develop and maintain documentation for platform processes, data workflows, and governance policies.
Implement requested changes to lead routing rules Campaign Execution: Develop and execute targeted email campaigns, nurturing programs, and other automated marketing initiatives Segment audiences based on specific criteria to deliver personalized messaging Monitor campaign performance metrics and make data-driven adjustments Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot system-related issues and optimize workflows within Pardot.
Utilize SQL to extract data, validate campaign audiences, and join multiple data sources Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for marketing automation Collaboration and Training: Collaborate effectively with global marketing teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable plans Communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Document processes and create knowledge base articles to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing Conduct training sessions for marketing teams on data governance, platform best practices, and compliance standards for self-service.
Maintain and expand a knowledge base of best practices and troubleshooting tips.
Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, preferably Pardot Strong understanding of CRM systems, particularly Salesforce Proficiency in email marketing best practices, including deliverability and A/B testing Excellent analytical skills to measure campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their application in marketing systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a global team SQL skills preferred, but not required Additional Information Total Rewards @ Turnitin Turnitin maintains a Total Rewards package that is competitive within the local job market.
