Title and Summary Manager, Market Development Overview: This role is for the Latin America and Caribbean division. As a manager in the Fintech, Digital Partnerships and Commerce team, you will be challenged with identifying new opportunities within a portfolio of key regional accounts. This includes onboarding new customers, defining and executing an account strategy, and identifying cross-sell and 1:many opportunities, all with the objective of revenue diversification and digital payments expansion. As a key member of this LAC Business Development team, you are required to prepare account plans, support the development and execution of account strategies, structure proposals, and manage the execution activities relating to the activation of new products, joint reselling, and marketing activity or service with the customer. The role will also be in charge of the regional strategy of one or several key topics that are crucial for the region, like remittances, acceptance, and/or others. Role: Manage a set of strategic Regional and Global accounts with a focus on acquirers and PSPs. Work with customers on their onboarding, commercial agreements, launch, and growth of their portfolios and manage regional accounts P&L. Drive new revenue through existing account expansion and new account development. Be the voice of Mastercard, drive thought leadership, and support our customers' plans. Develop reseller and 1 to many approaches, scaling the offer and distribution of our products and solutions. Develop key acceptance programs in partnership with the acquirer center of excellence and other stakeholders to increase digital payment acceptance. All About You: Have experience in the merchant acceptance, acquirer, PSP, orchestrator space. Have advanced account management experience and a hunter spirit. Deep knowledge about the innovation ecosystem in LAC and trends. Be customer-centric. Look for complementary products or services that can also help the customer. Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly. Be able to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders. Always look for potential solutions to solve problems. English and Spanish required, Portuguese preferred.
